As a WHRIN SAB (Strategic Advisory Body) member I am proud to announce to you that chosen to be honoured as the ‘Heroine of the Month’ for August -which we do in order to celebrate women and gender expansive people who are working on the frontlines yet rarely commended- is our Mali, the artist Alicia Nieto, our designer who has tirelessly and selflessly worked with me for our #SisterWUD from the very beginning in 2019. Her talent and vision has given to our work our particularly and easily recognizable style expressing through her art our views, demands and worries.
